Meet The Staff
Kari, Dental Hygienist
Kari is a Dental Hygienist at the practice. She received her RDH degree from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in 2002. She has been with the practice since 2005.
Kari is an expert clinician who stays up-to-date with continuing education in the dental hygiene field. She has received advanced training regarding OSHA regulations, and she is CPR certified. Kari prides herself in doing a thorough job cleaning her patient’s teeth. She enjoys building relationships with her patients while helping them to maintain healthy teeth and gums.
Kari is married, and she and her husband have two daughters. She loves being a mom. In her free-time, Kari enjoys the outdoors, going for family walks, and traveling. Kari is an active volunteer both at her church and at her daughters’ school.
Kelly, Dental Hygienist
Kelly is a dental hygienist at the practice. She received her RDH degree from Fox Valley Technical College in 2017. Kelly has been a member of the practice since 2019.
Kelly is a highly skilled clinician. She has received advanced training in airway management, effects of tobacco use on oral health, and dental implants. She is CPR certified and licensed to deliver local anesthetic. Kelly has performed volunteer clinical hours at both the Tri-County Community Dental Clinic, and at the Veteran’s Affairs Outpatient Clinic. Kelly says that her favorite thing about being a Dental Hygienist is getting to meet and interact with people, while understanding each of their unique dental needs. She takes pride in making each patient as comfortable as possible during their dental visits.
Kelly was born and raised in Door County, and she graduated from Sturgeon Bay High School in 2011. A strong believer in giving back to her community, Kelly has volunteered at Mission of Mercy, and the YMCA for the Healthy Kids Day. When she is not working, Kelly enjoys being with her family. She is an outdoor enthusiast and loves biking, boating, hunting, fishing, and taking long walks with her dog.
Lisa, Dental Hygienist
Lisa is a Dental Hygienist at the practice. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Marquette University. Lisa has been a member of the practice since 2020.
Lisa has worked in many different areas of Dentistry, around the state of Wisconsin. She has worked in practices which focus on General Dentistry, Prosthodontics, Orthodontics, and Public Health. This rich variety of experience has nurtured in Lisa, a growth mindset. Lisa loves learning. She is CPR certified and licensed to deliver local anesthetic. Yearly, Lisa takes continuing education in order to stay current with the ever-changing field of Dental Hygiene and Dentistry.
Lisa loves her patients. She strives to provide patient-centered dental care in a positive and comfortable manner, which results in a life-long relationship of trust and confidence. She is a team player and enjoys the positive environment with her co-workers.
Lisa and her long-time husband love adventure and never let new opportunities pass by. Thrill seekers, they have sky-dived and bungee-jumped in New Zealand, white-water rafted and zip-lined. However, their greatest adventure so far has been raising their four children.
Sara, Dental Hygienist
Sara is a dental hygienist at the practice. She received her Dental Assisting Certificate in 1991, and her RDH degree in 1996 from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College. She is CPR certified. Sara has been working in the dental field for over 27 years. We are privileged that she has been a member of the practice since 2002.
Sara has a wealth of experience and knowledge in the dental field. Her clinical skills are second-to-none. She has maintained her continuing education credits in all aspects of dentistry. Sara enjoys the dental hygiene field, encouraging her patients to have a healthy mouth by coming in for regular dental cleanings and teaching healthy habits at home. Sara is proud of the wonderful friendships that she has built with her patients, some whom she has been seeing for 18 years.
Sara has a busy family-life with her husband and 2 school-aged children. She enjoys her spare time with family and friends.
Emily, Front Desk Reception
Emily works at the front desk and reception at the practice. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Mathematics from Loyola University. She is CPR certified. Emily has been with the practice since 2020.
Emily has 8 years’ experience in customer service and management. She is very detail oriented and organized. She helps to keep the office running smoothly and efficiently. Emily is able to discuss and answer patient’s questions regarding their treatment plans, and schedule appropriate, efficient appointments for them to receive their necessary treatment in a timely manner. Emily can answer questions regarding patient’s accounts. She understands dental insurance and will help patients maximize their benefit.
Emily enjoys spending time training her Border Collie, Wrigley. She loves art, music and singing. In summer, Emily likes to spend time on the lake with family and friends.
Morgan, Front Desk Reception
Morgan works at the front desk and reception at the practice. She earned an Associates degree in Digital Media Design from Madison College in 2010. Morgan has been with the practice since 2020.
Morgan has several years’ experience at front office and patient services, both at General Dentistry and Oral Surgery practices. She is friendly, patient and kind, and is able to address patient’s questions and concerns. Morgan understands treatment plans and can schedule efficient appointments. Morgan can also answer patient questions regarding billing and insurance benefits. She is CPR certified.
Morgan enjoys meeting each patient, and thereby getting to know the community. She enjoys working as a team with the other members of the practice. Morgan grew up in Wisconsin, and has lived in Washington, Colorado and North Carolina, before moving back to Wisconsin and Door County. She loves cooking and has worked as a professional chef. Travelling, reading, crafting, and hiking are her other loves. She likes beekeeping, gardening and spending time on the family farm with animals – dogs, cats, chickens and cows!
Becky, Dental Assistant
Becky is a dental assistant at the practice. Becky earned a Certificate in Dental Assisting from Northeastern Wisconsin Technical College in 2004. She is CPR certified. She has been a member of the practice since 2005.
Becky is a wonderful asset to our team who understands both the clinical and administrative aspects of the practice. She assists in all dental procedures, assuring that every appointment runs efficiently. Her experience and knowledge allow her to provide valuable support and guidance to fellow team members. She is an asset to both her patients, and her coworkers. Always calm and understanding, Becky is able to answer patient questions. She is a team player who is always willing to provide support and guidance.
Becky and her husband have one son. In her spare time, Becky enjoys camping, walking her dog, shopping, and landscaping around the house. What she values most is time with family and friends.
Hannah, Dental Assistant
Hannah is a Dental Assistant at the practice. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Consumer Sciences and Sociology in 2018, from University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point.
Hannah has over 5 years’ experience in customer service and management. She has also worked as a pre-K educator, and taught workout classes for elders. She is CPR and first aid certified. Hannah has volunteered in the early childhood program at the YMCA, and at her church in the food pantry. Hannah is a people-person, and she loves getting to know her patients. She wants to make sure that they feel comfortable and welcomed. Hannah enjoys working as a team with her co-workers to make the day efficient, fun and fast.
Hannah is from Kaukauna, Wisconsin. Her favorite thing is to spend time with friends and family. Hannah loves the outdoors, and hiking with her husband and their Australian Shepherd, Monty. Hannah and her husband recently moved to Door County, and they are enjoying getting to know all the County has to offer.
Kate, Dental Assistant
Kate is a dental assistant at the practice. She is CPR and AED certified. Kate has been with the practice since 2020.
Kate is a lifelong learner who has lived in Door County for over 7 years. With a background in community development, she has worked to serve the community in a number of positions. These include an operator in water systems, community organizer, farmer and firefighter. She is proud to now address community health by helping residents of the peninsula take care of their oral health needs, as a dental assistant.
When she is not at work, Kate is an avid reader. She likes to explore the natural world.
