Meet The Staff

Kari, Dental Hygienist

Kari is a Dental Hygienist at the practice.  She received her RDH degree from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in 2002.  She has been with the practice since 2005.

Kari is an expert clinician who stays up-to-date with continuing education in the dental hygiene field.  She has received advanced training regarding OSHA regulations, and she is CPR and AED certified.  Kari prides herself in doing a thorough job cleaning her patient’s teeth.  She enjoys building relationships with her patients while helping them to maintain healthy teeth and gums.

Kari is married, and she and her husband have two daughters.  She loves being a mom.  In her free time, Kari enjoys the outdoors, going for family walks, and traveling.  Kari is an active volunteer both at her church and at her daughters’ school.

Kelly, Dental Hygienist

Kelly is a dental hygienist at the practice.  She received her RDH degree from Fox Valley Technical College in 2017.  Kelly has been a member of the practice since 2019.

Kelly is a highly skilled clinician.  She has received advanced training in airway management, the effects of tobacco use on oral health, and dental implants.  She is CPR and AED certified and licensed to deliver local anesthetic.  Kelly has performed volunteer clinical hours at both the Tri-County Community Dental Clinic, and the Veteran’s Affairs Outpatient Clinic.  Kelly says that her favorite thing about being a Dental Hygienist is getting to meet and interact with people while understanding each of their unique dental needs.  She takes pride in making each patient as comfortable as possible during their dental visits.

Kelly was born and raised in Door County, and she graduated from Sturgeon Bay High School in 2011.  A strong believer in giving back to her community, Kelly has volunteered at Mission of Mercy, and the YMCA for Healthy Kids Day.  When she is not working, Kelly enjoys being with her family.  She is an outdoor enthusiast and loves biking, boating, hunting, fishing, and taking long walks with her dog.

Sandy, Dental Hygienist

Sandy is a Dental Hygienist at the practice.  She received her RDH Degree at Harper College in 1980.  She joined the practice in November 2022.

Sandy has enjoyed working as a Dental Hygienist for over 40 years.  She enjoys getting to know her patients and helping them feel comfortable during their appointments.  Doing a thorough job and helping patients improve their dental health is important to her.  Sandy is CPR and AED certified.  She keeps up with new dental technology through continuing education courses.

Sandy was born and raised in the Chicago area and vacationed in Door County every year.  When she was 23, she moved to Reno, NV where she worked and raised her two children.  She and her kids continued to visit her parents in Fish Creek every summer.  In 2021, Sandy moved to Sister Bay with her husband and dog, to retire and be closer to Sandy’s parents.  Sandy missed being part of a dental team, and she feels lucky and proud to be a member of the practice two days per week.  Sister Bay is a wonderful place that Sandy calls home, and her husband and dog, Wrigley love it too.

Danielle , Dental Hygienist

Danielle is a Dental Hygienist at that practice. She received her RDH degree at Northcentral Technical College in June 2020.

Danielle enjoys meeting new people and explaining the importance of dental care. She is CPR and AED certified and licensed to deliver local anesthetic. Before moving to Door County, she was a traveling hygienist, who would go to skilled nursing facilities and perform routine cleanings and assessments. Before her time in the dental profession, she was a certified ophthalmic assistant. Danielle also served in the WI Army National Guard, with one tour in Afghanistan in 2012.  

Danielle relocated to Carlsville from Appleton in the spring of 2023.  She lives with her boyfriend and her two children.  In her free time, she enjoys camping, gardening, family adventures, and discovering the beauty and history of Door County. 

Emily, office manager

Emily works at the front desk and reception at the practice.  She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Mathematics from Loyola University.  She is CPR and AED certified.  Emily has been with the practice since 2020.

Emily has 8 years of experience in customer service and management.  She is very detail-oriented and organized.  She helps to keep the office running smoothly and efficiently.   Emily is able to discuss and answer patients’ questions regarding their treatment plans and schedule appropriate, efficient appointments for them to receive their necessary treatment in a timely manner.  Emily can answer questions regarding patients’ accounts.  She understands dental insurance and will help patients maximize their benefits.

Emily enjoys spending time training her Border Collie, Wrigley.  She loves art, music, and singing.  In summer, Emily likes to spend time on the lake with family and friends.

Carol, front desk reception

Carol is our front desk receptionist who joined our practice in November 2022 after working for 24 years at a large dental practice in Racine. Her goal is to make every patient feel welcome throughout their dental experience. She is CPR certified and understands that each patient has individual needs and strives to keep that a priority.

She and her husband have recently relocated to Sister Bay and look forward to exploring all Door County is proud of. Carol enjoys flower and vegetable gardening and spending time in the great outdoors.

Becky, Dental Assistant

Becky is a dental assistant at the practice.  Becky earned a Certificate in Dental Assisting from Northeastern Wisconsin Technical College in 2004.  She is CPR and AED certified.  She has been a member of the practice since 2005.

Becky is a wonderful asset to our team who understands both the clinical and administrative aspects of the practice.  She assists in all dental procedures, assuring that every appointment runs efficiently.  Her experience and knowledge allow her to provide valuable support and guidance to fellow team members.  She is an asset to both her patients and her coworkers.  Always calm and understanding, Becky is able to answer patient questions.  She is a team player who is always willing to provide support and guidance.

Becky and her husband have one son.  In her spare time, Becky enjoys camping, walking her dog, shopping, and landscaping around the house.  What she values most is time with family and friends.

Kristi, Dental Assistant

Kristi is a dental assistant who joined the practice in August 2023. She worked in a dental office many years ago before finishing college and receiving a Master’s Degree in Education. Kristi recently retired from the classroom where she taught elementary and middle school students in the state of California for 23 years. She is First Aid, CPR, and AED certified.

Kristi moved to Sister Bay with her husband to live on her family’s farm which was established in 1881. She has many fond memories of helping her grandfather with the farm chores and is looking forward to re-establishing the flower garden that her grandmother and aunt tended every year. Kristi and her husband, Ryan, also enjoy spending their shared days off exploring Door County and enjoying the local sights.

Stephanie, Dental Assistant

Stephanie is a dental assistant who joined the practice in November 2022. She is a motivated and very detailed person who always enjoys meeting new people. She likes to make sure that you are comfortable and that your appointment runs smoothly. She is CPR and AED certified.

Stephanie is originally from the Fox Valley area and moved to Door County in early adulthood for its natural beauty and employment opportunities. She has many years of customer service and management experience. 

Stephanie and her husband are raising two children along with their new puppy, Nova. In her spare time, she enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with family and friends.
